4. AI Processing & Third-Party Services
Important: Our Service uses artificial intelligence to analyze interview transcripts. To provide this analysis, we send portions of your uploaded transcripts to the following third-party AI services:
- OpenAI (GPT-4) - For generating reference answers and comparison
- Anthropic (Claude) - For generating reference answers and comparison
- Google (Gemini) - For generating reference answers and comparison
What we send: Interview questions and candidate answers only.
What we do NOT send: Your identity, email, company name, or any personally identifiable information about you or the candidate.
5. Contributor Data (Interview Collection Program)
If you contribute interview recordings or transcripts through our Contribute page, additional terms apply:
5.1 What We Collect
- Interview audio recordings and/or text transcripts you upload
- Metadata you provide: interview type, seniority level, industry, platform
- Email address (optional, for delivering your free coaching report)
- Whether AI tools were used during the interview (self-reported)
5.2 How Contributor Data Is Used
- Training and improving our AI cheating detection models
- Generating your free personalized interview coaching report
- Benchmarking detection accuracy
- Aggregated research (never individual identification)
5.3 Anonymization
When you enable anonymization at upload, our AI automatically replaces all personal names, company names, locations, email addresses, phone numbers, and monetary amounts with generic placeholders (e.g., [Person 1], [Company A]). Original files are permanently deleted after anonymization is complete.
5.4 Deletion Rights
Every contribution receives a unique deletion token. You can permanently delete all your contributed data at any time using this token — no questions asked. Contact privacy@hrguard.ai or use the API endpoint with your deletion token.
5.5 Data Separation
Candidate-contributed data is never shared with employers. HR-contributed data is never shared with candidates. Contributor data is stored separately from customer analysis data.
6. Data Retention
We retain your data for the following periods:
